Derek R., sophomore student here at Cedarville University, died today, Saturday August 27, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident late Friday evening on Bridge Street, behind the university. Derek was majoring in Education and was also a part of the Air Force ROTC.
Derek was a good friend and loved by many. Please pray for his family, parents Ken and Susan, brother Carl, a senior at Vanderbilt, and 13 year-old sister Stacey. It looks as though memorial services will be held here locally within the next few days. We will let you know about the plans when they come available.
